NRH Home Ownership Program - Up to $10,000.00 Free Forgivable Down payment loan
Are you renting an wanting to own your own home? Having difficulty saving up your down payment. The Niagara Regional Housing Homeownership Program might be your answer. They are offering up to a $10,000 forgivable loan for your down payment and closing fees. To be eligible you must be:
* A Canadian Citizen, Landed Immigrant or have refugee claimant status with no outstanding removal order
* 18 Years of age or older
* Must not own or have an interest in other residential properties or owe arrears to another housing provider.
* Must currently be renting and looking to buy a sole and principle residence
* Must have a household income before deductions below $55,100.00 and assets below $30,000.00
* Must be eligible to obtain a mortgage and demonstrate sustainability
